Volunteers open or close the shop (depending on your preference and availability), provide customer service, operate the cash register and point-of-sale machine, sell fudge and preserves from our fudge counter, and do very limited general maintenance of the store (tidy shelves and racks and food areas). Shifts are 3.5 hours long--morning shifts are from 10am to 1:30pm; afternoon shifts are from 1:30pm to 5pm. We are open 7 days a week, so you can choose a time that works with your schedule. We invite volunteers to try out the volunteering experience in our store before deciding whether they would like to continue volunteering with us.
