Description (Service) Serves the people of the Niagara Peninsula by building permanently endowed charitable funds for the changing needs and opportunities of the community, making grants and providing leadership that contributes to the health and vitality of the community. This is accomplished through five granting programs and by: working with donors to achieve their philanthropic goals and potential; providing financial support, technical assistance and other resources to charitable organizations; promoting effective leadership in the community by encouraging and participating in community initiatives and partnerships; fostering a climate for community involvement and discussion, problem solving and planning; managing responsibly the foundation's dollars/assets; and building awareness of the role of philanthropy in responding to community needs and opportunities.
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
Eligibility Must be a registered charity providing services in the Niagara Region. Other criteria may apply.
