| Description (Service) | Serves youth who have high risk behaviours. Risk assessment and safety planning, along with therapy. Partners with the Crown’s office, Police, and Probation to assist clients who are facing charges through an alternative to a formal court procedure. The Mental Health Court Worker advocates, supports and provides referrals for youth who have come into contact with the criminal youth justice system and present with mental health issues. The Mental Health Court Worker can propose mental health diversion to the Crown and discuss treatment plans. |
