Service and Access Details
Description (Service) Provide psychological, social, emotional and informational support for cancer patients and their loved ones. Offer one-to-one peer support, coping skills, support groups, expressive arts, health restoring programs, workshops/ discussions series and and a resource centre with hundreds of books and audio tapes/ video tapes related to cancer. All services are free of charge and without referral.  
 
Look Good Feel Better - is hosted at Wellspring Niagara. A free workshop where women (who are in treatment or have recently completed treatment) benefit from the shared experience of other women with cancer. 
 
The Men's Room, a new, monthly program supporting men living with cancer or caring for those living with cancer. This group provides the tools needed to help overcome negative thoughts - a practical guide to empowering the mind.  
 
Wellspring Niagara also has an online cancer support resource called Pass It On. Topics include: nutrition, exercise, returning to work, tools for coping with the disease, support for family members, information for cancer patients who have financial concerns and more. Visit www.wellspring.ca/blog
