|Description (Service)||Provides assessment and treatment to individuals age 16 and older with suspected mental health or serious mental health problems. Both assessment and treatment is evidence-based/science informed. Services are conducted by a multidisciplinary team consisting of social work, nursing, occupational therapy, medicine/psychiatry, and other allied health professionals.
The service also offers an early psychosis intervention service for individuals experiencing a first episode of psychosis between the ages of 14 and 35.
This program is offered in partnership with West Lincoln Hospital (Hamilton Health Sciences) and is supported by St Joseph's HealthCare Hamilton.
