Description (Service) | COVID-19: Services are available by telephone or scheduled appointments only. Literacy and basic skills training, including numeracy, digital, communication and interpersonal skills * helps learners prepare for employment, apprenticeship, secondary-school credit, post-secondary education and greater independence Niagara College offers the Academic and Career Entrance (A.C.E.) certificate program onsite as an equivalent to Grade 12 for admission consideration by any Ontario College or by the Apprenticeship branch of Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development. ACE courses are offered in communications/English, mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, self-management and computers Self-Management classes are offered to individuals who are interested in improving their personal independence, furthering their education and or obtaining employment. Also a community access site for Independent Learning Centre correspondence and online learning courses. |
