Description (Service) The central agency in Canada that collects information and criminal intelligence on mass marketing fraud that target mass victims. Examples include telemarketing scams, online scams, identity theft, email and text message scams, business scams and mail scams. 
Complaints are received from Canadian consumers and/or victims and others where there is a connection to Canada. The centre is jointly managed by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the Ontario Provincial Police, and the Competition Bureau of Canada.
