Description (Service) | COVID-19: Closed until further notice. Provides free opportunities for children from birth to 6 years of age to participate in play and inquiry-based programs. Families and caregivers will be able to find support, advice, make personal connections and access a network of resources. Other programs include: Literacy for Everyone: A morning of literacy and crafts with a literacy consultant from Speech Services Niagara. Offered once a month. Niagara Brighter Futures: A fun and interactive program for families with children age zero to six that promotes healthy living. Topics include: Child development and milestones * Eat healthy play healthy * Winter fun in Canada * Dealing with the holidays * March Break teddy bear picnic * Growing together * Mental health * Home safety * Community resources * Cooking demonstrations/circles * Infant circle * Young authors Triple P (Positive Parenting Program): An interactive, eight week parking group course offered to parents with children ages 2-12 years. After School Club: An interactive program for ELKP to grade eight students. Participants can enjoy healthy snacks, crafts, games, outdoor fun and monthly trips to the library.
