| Description (Service) | COVID-19 - The food bank remains open but the retail store is closed until further notice. A registered, not for profit community agency that provides social service assistance to members of the Grimsby community who are experiencing financial hardship. Services ensure those in need receive the basic provision of food security (i.e. food bank and holiday hampers), housing assistance (i.e. rent and utility assistance), health and wellbeing support (i.e. medical and dental assistance), a Back-to-School Program, and a retail store that is available for all in the community. Utility Assistance: Provides intake for the Niagara Emergency Energy Fund (NEEF) and the Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) for emergency financial assistance for low income households facing gas or hydro (Grimsby Power) disconnection. |
