Description (Service) COVID-19: All ELTE and OSLT classes are being offered online. Contact staff for a virtual appointment to learn more. 
Niagara College offers programs and services that help newcomers to Canada achieve their professional goals towards employment or further education. Services offered are: English as a Second Language (ESL); Occupation Specific Language Training (OSLT) courses in Health Sciences, Business and Technology; Enhanced Language Training for Employment (ELTE) Canadian culture and workplace studies and career exploration and planning; qualified candidates also have an opportunity to participate in a non-paid placement specific to professional career, career exploration, educational pathways, and support for non-traditional students.

*English language classes at an advanced level 
*Work-placement opportunity within the Niagara Region (ELTE Full-Time only) 
*Canadian workplace preparation courses leading to a General Arts & Science certificate 
*Assistance in transportation, books/materials and tuition (based on eligibility) 
*Part-time ELTE & OSLT offers a flexible delivery option

Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and up 
Newcomers in the community seeking information on steps required to find Canadian employment in their chosen field. Immigrants who look for language instruction and/or career paths.
