Description (Service) A women's club that holds an annual book sale to fund eight annual university scholarships for female graduates of each of the high schools in the club's district as well as one scholarship for a mature woman at Brock University.  
 
Monthly meetings feature speakers on variety of topics and are advertised in all the local newspapers in the district. The Club's members also have social groups including book clubs, bridge clubs and a lunch club.  
 
New members are always welcome and any interested women are invited to attend a meeting. 
 
Affiliated CFUW (national) and IFUW (international).

Eligibility Membership is open to any woman who supports the goals of CFUW: the pursuit of knowledge, promotion of education, improvement of the status of women and girls and active participation in public affairs in the spirit of cooperation and friendship. (university education not required)

Events Holds a fundraising Book Sale every Oct at the Niagara Regional Exhibition Grounds in Welland. Donations are welcome: contact organization to find out types of books sold at the sale. Proceeds go toward university scholarships for female graduates of the eight high schools in our district and to community endeavours.
