|Description (Service)||COVID-19: Program available virtually at this time.
A home visiting program for young first-time mothers. A public health nurse can help support mothers throughout pregnancy and until the child’s second birthday.
A public health nurse can help parents:
* Have a healthier pregnancy
* Understand how your baby grows and learns
* Work on your own personal goals as a parent
* Connect with programs in the community
Participation is voluntary.

|Eligibility||Ages: 25 year(s) and under
Participants must be under the age of 25, and less than 28 weeks gestation in their first pregnancy at the time of enrollment.
|Application||Referrals can be made to Infant and Child Development Services by pediatricians, family physicians, public health nurses, social services and community agencies. Parents must be aware of referrals made to this program.|
