Description (Service) | A not-for-profit, charitable organization operating the Computers for Schools Ontario, RCTech Charities, RCTech Experience and RCTech Renew programs. Accepts computer donations from the public and private sector. The equipment is refurbished for local schools, charities, libraries, and low income earners. RCT is looking for complete and working Dual Core or better desktop and laptop computers and LCD monitors 5 years or newer. Equipment not meeting these standards will be directed to the RCTech Renew program which ensures equipment is recycled in an environmentally sound manner. |

Events | Renewed Computer Technology (RCT) provides a sound environmental solution for local businesses and residents to donate their surplus computers, printers and faxes. RCT reuses as much of the equipment as possible and donates them to schools, libraries, charities and low income learners. As an approved Service Provider, the equipment that cannot be re-used will be recycled through the Ontario Ministry of the Environment's WEEE program.
