Description (Service) Non-profit, charitable organization that provides transitional support with a feminist framework, to women and children who have experienced abuse.  
 
Provides women and children with transitional housing that is integrated into local communities and that is temporary, with the objective to obtain safe, affordable, and permanent housing. Also offers professional counselling services for women and children, advocacy with third parties and helping to connect clients with community resources. 
 
Residential Program - furnished housing where tenants pay utilities and rent according to their means. Length of stay is approximately one year. Tenants receive regular home visits from a counsellor who helps and supports them in making the legal, financial and emotional changes necessary to their own and their children's healing. 
 
Counselling Program - offers free counselling to women and children who do not require housing. 
 
Transitional & Housing Support Program & Child & Youth Program - Assists women and children in identifying and connecting with the kinds of supports and services required to establish lives free from abuse, including safety planning, assistance with housing applications and community referrals.
