Description (Service) Food literacy program designed to help develop the skills and confidence necessary for children, youth and adults to prepare healthy and tasty recipes emphasizing vegetables and fruit. Participants learn and practice a variety of food skills, kitchen safety and food safety.  
 
You're the Chef is a train-the-trainer program. Interested individuals from schools and community agencies are invited to attend a half day leader training session offered a few times per year by Registered Dietitians from Niagara Region Public Health. Trained leaders will receive the necessary tools, resources and support to run a full program in their particular setting.
