Description (Service) Geared towards linking education institutions, their newcomers and domestic students, with experiential learning opportunities 
 
Services include: 
 
Links for Greener Schools 
*This is a food literacy, waste management and gardening program designed for elementary and secondary schools. It offers workshops, cooking classes, school campaigns, waste audits and garden development.  
 
Environmental Awareness and Education for Newcomers 
* series of workshops designed to help newcomers develop awareness and skills in the area of waste management, water and energy conservation 
 
Growing Diversity Garden 
* raises awareness amongst newcomers about food, how to grow organic food 
* provides an opportunity to continue cooking traditional recipes 
* gardens provide opportunity for recreation, exercise, education and the opportunity to meet people and practice English
