Description (Service) | COVID-19 - Are still providing child protection services 24/7. Some physical sites and programs are temporarily closed, including the Niagara Falls and Welland offices. Still operating remotely and from the St Catharines location. The Family Counselling Centre continues to operate virtual and is providing limited in person sessions. A multi-service regional agency offering programs and services to support children, youth, families and adults. Mandated by the Child and Family Services Act to respond to any concerns regarding the possible abuse or neglect of children through investigation, protection, prevention and treatment programs for children and their families Provide a variety of community programs such as: * Adoption Services * Foster Care Services * Family Counselling Centre Child Care Programs * Bunting Child Care Program * Western Hill Child Care Centre Pregnancy and After Care Services: counselling and support for single parents before and after the birth of their child Summer Smiles: camp and day activity programs for children living with foster families, kin families and those families served in the community. |
