Description (Service) | COVID-19: All face to face services suspended until further notice. * Regular phone and video conference check ins with families who are currently in-service with programs * Service coordination and advocacy supports by phone or video conference * Coffee Chats: Support groups via video conference * Workshops offered through video conference * See Facebook page for updates Provides crisis intervention and traditional support services to those who are at risk or are currently experiencing family violence and/or crisis in their lives. These services are available on a one-to-one basis or in a group setting where action plans are developed to help meet short-term and long-term goals of participants. Offers supportive peer counselling, referrals to community agencies, healing/talking circles, cultural events and other forms of support from an Aboriginal perspective. |
