|Description (Service)||A community hub that provides social, recreational and life skill programmes for individuals living with an Autism spectrum disorder, their families and those who have related developmental disabilities.
Pilot Initiatives include: Champs Adaptive Fitness, Adaptive Cacooning Aerial Yoga, Karate, Self Defense, Tai Chi , Saturday Drop In Service (pre registration required)
Individualized plans will be created to build on strengths and to provide a productive and progressive experience. Staff will work with participants to achieve fitness, fundamental movement and social and life skill goals.
|Hours||Sun 9 am-5 pm, Mon-Fri 10 am-8:30 pm, Sat 9 am-5 pm|
|Eligibility||Ages: 3 year(s) and up
The Adaptive Recreation Facilitator to participant ratio is 1:1 to 1:3 depending on needs and concerns regarding participant. Participants who have their own support workers are welcome to bring them.
|Application||A mandatory participation form, which can be emailed or picked up, must be completed prior to start date of program or service. * In person registration and on-line registration available|
|Fees||Program ; Payment can be made by e-mail transfer, Visa, Master Card, American Express or in person in cash upon sign up. Instructions will be given after the participation form has been submitted OR payment will be required the 1st day of the program before program begins.|
