|Description (Service)||A shelter for stray and unwanted animals; quarantine facilities are available. Investigates animal cruelty and neglect complaints and provides assistance to wounded animals (24 hours a day). Provides adopt-a-pet services and dead animal removal on municipal property in Grimsby and St Catharines. Enforces dog control and licensing by-laws in Thorold, Grimsby and St. Catharines.
