Description (Service) | COVID-19: Program offered virtually until further notice. Contact for information. A therapeutic day activity program designed to enhance the quality of life of adults with physical or developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries. Provides structured activities that promote the development of social, cognitive, physical and emotional skills that will lead to increased independence and community integration. Delivered in partnership by March of Dimes Canada and Brain Injury Community Re-Entry. |

Eligibility | Each applicant must: * Be adults 18 years of age and older * Have a primary diagnosis of a physical, developmental, or acquired brain injury disability * Have been assessed as non-competitively employable * Have goals related to the program components above * Be able to actively and appropriately participate in a group setting * Candidates with significant behavioural challenges will be required to have a behaviour support plan and will be assessed on an individual basis * Candidates with significant personal care needs will be required to obtain attendant care services through March of Dimes Canada or private service providers |
