These are enforced by the Building Division and Welland Fire and Emergency Services respectively. Complaints pertaining to the condition of a rental unit or heating, are to be submitted to the City’s Building Division with details confirming that the landlord has been recently advised about the problem and that it has not been corrected will be required. |

| Description (Service) | Responsible for the enforcement of the City of Welland’s by-laws. Also takes care of Business Licensing. Staff responds primarily to complaints relating to violations of City By-laws including parking, zoning, clean yards, fencing, swimming pools and swimming pool enclosures, business licensing, sidewalk snow removal, noise and signs. |
