| Description (Service) | COVID-19 - The office is closed to drop-in visits and there will be no face to face meetings until further notice. Staff are available by phone or email only. Check Facebook page for updated information on summer activities being offered or contact Allyesa Stewart at programs.niagara@autismontario.com. Provides programs and services for individuals in the Niagara Region living with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and their families. Services offered include programs for children, youth and adults with Autism, summer camp, ASD family-friendly events and outings, an on-site sensory room, connection to other community resources and supports, bursaries and more. Provide a variety of programs for children, youth, teens and adults with ASD. These programs run Sep-Dec & Jan-Apr. The Summer Camp program runs in Jul & Aug. Lengths of programs vary. Provides services and supports for adults with ASD and youth transitioning into adulthood. The Potential Programme department provides consultation for family support, social learning opportunities (SLOs) for individuals and families with ASD, and the facilitation of professionals to speak locally on various topics related to ASD. The Potential Programme also provides SLO events in French and bilingually. |
