|Description (Service)||Provides Catholic education to more than 22,000 students in Early Learning Kindergarten through Grade 12 in 49 Catholic elementary schools and eight Catholic secondary schools.
Niagara Catholic is a fully inclusive system, and offers a number of supports for students with special needs to ensure they reach their full potential.
The Settlement Worker in Schools (SWIS) Program assists students who are newcomers to the country, as they acquire English language skills. The Pope Francis Centre provides an alternative learning environment for students who are in need of additional support in order to complete their education. This includes:
Fresh Start: An alternative to suspension or expulsion
Jump Start: Supporting students with high absenteeism
Parent Support: Supporting male and female students with an infant
Mental Health and Addiction Support: For students living with a mental health issue or an addiction.
Niagara Catholic also provides services to Adult Learners, International Students and secondary school students (online and summer school programs) through the Continuing Education program.
