Back to School Supplies *In any city a client may contact the child’s school principal to see if they can help with a backpack or school supplies. The schools may have access to support from several different organizations (i.e. United Way, Education Foundation)

Niagara Region 2018 - CAPC Niagara Brighter Futures a drop-in for families with children ages 0 to 6, will have backpacks and school supplies available in August, to registered participants in the program. For program times and locations, contact Judy at 905-714-0227 ext 239 * As supplies last.

Niagara Falls . 2018 - Project Share Offering new backpacks, shoes and school supplies to school aged children living below the poverty line in Niagara Falls in late August, while supplies last and all donations are distributed. Application: Visit Project SHARE at 4129 Stanley Ave, Unit 2, Niagara Falls

Welland 2018 - Open Arms Mission Open Arms Mission provides backpacks and school supplies to elementary school aged children. Backpacks provided by Giant Tiger Welland. School supply donations from the public are welcome and can be dropped off at the Mission Centre. Application: Visit Mission Centre at 22 Fifth Street, Welland Tue - Fri 9:30 am - 11:45 am August 1-31, 2018. Low income guidelines apply. Please bring proof of Welland/Wainfleet residence, income and photo ID for each member in the household.

Fort Erie 2018 - Community Outreach Program Erie Community Outreach Program Erie (COPE) is NOT running a specific back-to-school program. However, it is possible that members of the public could donate back-to-school items, so persons in need can check to see if COPE might have anything by chance. Grimsby 2018 - GBF Community Services The Back-to-School Program provides children with a new backpack, lunch bag, school supplies, running shoes and some school snacks. Households registered with the organization’s food bank may register for the program. Individuals and families may be eligible if they are a resident of Grimsby and household annual income is identified as “Low Income”. Application: Call 905-309-5664 Ext. #22

West Lincoln 2018 - West Lincoln Community Care Backpacks for children in grades K - Grade 12 are distributed to families in need within the West Lincoln community. Program runs through the month of August and first week of September. If eligible for food program at WLCC, clients will also be eligible for backpacks. West Niagara 2018 - Community Care of West Niagara Back-to-School program provides a backpack filled with school supplies and a pair of running shoes to students in JK - Grade 12 from low-income families living in West Niagara. (Beamsville, Campden, Jordan & Vineland) . The backpack comes fully equipped with grade specific supplies needed for each child to be successful at school.
