| Description (Service) | Fire Department serving Port Colborne. * If someone's carbon monoxide alarm goes off - immediately go to a fresh air location and call for help (911). Pertinent questions will be asked and the Fire Department will be dispatched to investigate. * For information on regulations and permits pertaining to Fireworks contact the Fire Prevention Officer. * Will conduct a home safety inspection; suggest proper placement of smoke alarms, as well as carbon monoxide alarms. * Also provides fire safety literature - day cares, as well as schools can request a tour of the Fire Station, or the Fire Prevention Office will visit the establishment to speak about fire safety. Call Administration at the Fire Hall to book an appointment. |
