Description (Service) Distributes food, good used clothing (including winter clothing), small household articles to residents facing financial challenges

Emergency Medical/Dental Vision care assistance available on case by case basis dependant on available funds. (dental cleaning/scaling not applicable)

Laundry Program provides vouchers to registered clients giving them the ability to wash and dry their clothing a centrally located Laundromat.

The Christmas Bureau provides new toys (age specific) and grocery vouchers. Life Skills training includes Savoury Samplings Program & Community Gardens. Back to School Snacks & Sneakers program in late August (backpacks and school supplies while supplies last)

Shelter issues are addressed through Community Care's Housing Help Program. Trusteeships are provided to those experiencing money management issues. Assistance with replacing ID for registered clients is now available through the housing program.

Community Care is pleased to administer the Canadian Tire Jumpstart program for St Catharines residents. Jumpstart provides financially disadvantaged children, aged 4-18 years, with the opportunity to participate in sports and recreational activities. Call 905-685-1349 ext 228 for more information.
