Description (Service) | An association of writers helping other writers in the art of composing and publishing their work. Recognition from their peers when their work is published and an awareness of the sensitivity of fellow writers about work under development is necessary to make the peer support system work. Provides a program at local libraries and other venues. The program offers to members: * Workshops for professional development * Networking opportunities for writers * Members only - writing and editing critique groups * Niagara Reads sessions at least twice per year * Opportunities for professional writers to meet and share career experiences * Guest speakers who are arranged based on the requests of members * Community gatherings to give writers venues for public readings of their work in Poetry and a genres of writing |
