| Description (Service) | COVID-19 - Drop in centre open Mon-Fri 9 am-12 noon, 1 pm-3:30 pm. Refreshments, telephone, mail, housing supports, income matters, health services, basic needs available. No sit in lunches on weekends - bagged lunches will be given Sat, Sun 11:15 am-1 pm. Tax Clinics: Income tax filing is now being done remotely. Please call 905-984-5310 x 603. An intake questionnaire will be completed as soon as possible. Income papers, including rent receipts, property tax summaries, medical expenses, etc. can be dropped off at 17 Gale Crescent between 1 and 2 pm Monday to Friday. Emails can be directed to incomematters@startmeupniagara.ca. For those facing significant life challenges including addiction, mental illness, poverty, homelessness and unemployment. Open daily, refreshments, access to support staff, phones, restrooms, healthcare, assistance with paperwork, taxes, mail, links to community services. Offer programs and activities including, recreational activities, community garden and Healthy Kitchen and Art Me Uprising studio. Lunch offered on weekends and stat holidays. |
