Description & Services
Description (Service) Provides assessment and therapy to children with physical, developmental and/or communicative (speech and language) disabilities.  
 
Services provided include:  
- Physiotherapy 
- Occupational therapy 
- Speech/language pathology 
- Social work 
- Recreation therapy 
- Preschool programs for children with physical disabilities and/or speech and language impairment 
- Special Services At Home for physically disabled children 
- Medical clinics for children registered: Orthopedic, Pediatric, Developmental Pediatrics; Gait Analysis Clinic, Splinting and Casting Clinic; Seating Clinic. 
 
Niagara Preschool Speech and Language Service System, known as Speech Services Niagara, offers assistance if an individual feels their infant or child is delayed or having difficulty speech and language development. The Centre is the central intake for all referrals for preschool speech and language services for the Niagara Region. 
 
For information about OT/PT/SLP therapy services for children with special needs contact Manager of Rehabilitation Services at Ext 200. For information about the Niagara Children's Centre School contact the Principal at Ext 230.

With physical, developmental or communication disabilities.
Application Parent and caregivers may self refer. A physician's referral is required if the child is coming to see a Niagara Children's Centre consulting physician.
