|Description (Service)||Provides shelter and services for women and children experiencing abuse. Services include: 24-hour crisis/information line, counselling and emotional support for women and children/youth who are being or who have been abused, development of safety plans, transitional and housing support, family court support (including accompaniment to court and legal appointments), public education programs, and referrals.
Services are available on an in-shelter or office visit basis.

|Eligibility||All, abused women and their children.|
|Application||Women are asked to contact the crisis line at 905-356-5800 to speak with a trained counsellor. Each crisis situation will be assessed and formal support will be provided based on the situation.|
