Description & Services
Description (Service) Provides shelter and services for women and children experiencing abuse. Services include: 24-hour crisis/information line, counselling and emotional support for women and children/youth who are being or who have been abused, development of safety plans, transitional and housing support, family court support (including accompaniment to court and legal appointments), public education programs, and referrals. 
 
Services are available on an in-shelter or office visit basis.

Eligibility All, abused women and their children.
Application Women are asked to contact the crisis line at 905-356-5800 to speak with a trained counsellor. Each crisis situation will be assessed and formal support will be provided based on the situation.

Women’s Place hosts The Annual "Strike Out Violence" Bowling Tournament in Mar in partnership with the Niagara Regional Police. Form a team, raise pledges, and attend a brunch and bowling! The 2016 event takes place on Sat Mar 5 at Club Italia and Cataract Bowl. 
 
Nova Book Riot – used book sale over the Mothers' Day Weekend (Thu-Sun). The 2016 sale will be held at Niagara Square. 
 
Join the WAVE! - Join this 5 km beach party-themed fundraising walk through the halls of the Seaway Mall. The 2016 event will take place on Sat Nov 5.
