Description & Services
Description (Service) Provides shelter and services for women and children experiencing abuse. Services include: 24-hour crisis/information line, counselling and emotional support for women and children/youth who are being or who have been abused, development of safety plans, transitional and housing support, family court support (including accompaniment to court and legal appointments), public education programs, and referrals. 
Services are available on an in-shelter or office visit basis.

Eligibility All, abused women and their children.
Application Women are asked to contact the crisis line at 905-356-5800 to speak with a trained women's intervention advocate. Each crisis situation will be assessed and formal support will be provided based on the situation.

Events Nova Book Riot – used book sale over the Mothers' Day Weekend (Thursday-Sunday).  
Women’s Place hosts The Annual "Strike Out Violence" Bowling Tournament every fall in partnership with the Niagara Regional Police. Form a team, raise pledges, and enjoy two games of bowling followed by a dinner reception silent auction  
Cut It Out -- Stop domestic violence in style 
Salons across Niagara will participate in this event throughout the month of March, raising funds for Women’s Place and awareness of domestic violence.
