Description (Service) COVID-19 - Service changes: 
Income tax clinics have been postponed and ID Clinics have been cancelled until further notice 
OESP electricity credit will still be done remotely via phone, email or fax. 
LEAP Enbridge and Hydro One – people are instructed to contact United Way Simcoe Muskoka 1-855-487-5327  
LEAP – Alectra applications can be taken over the phone and managed remotely  
Housing Services – people can be assisted via phone or email 
Niagara Regional Housing applications can be completed over the phone with assistance from staff. Niagara Regional Housing will connect with clients at a later date if any information is missing
Provides a free and confidential housing referral and consultation service. 
Helps with:  
* assistance and information to help solve housing problems 
* people who are homeless or at risk of being homeless to find and maintain permanent accommodation within the local 
* landlords to find tenants and helps to resolve conflicts between landlords and tenants 
* basic information on the Residential Tenancies Act 
Also offers:  
* use of telephone, daily newspapers, message board, housing directory and listing service 
* youth and outreach worker provides outreach to the community with routine visits to schools 
* money management - trusteeship service (including youth 16-24) 
* regional identification clinic  
Utility Assistance: Provides intake for the Niagara Emergency Energy Fund (NEEF) and the Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) for emergency financial assistance for low income households facing disconnection (gas or hydro). Also provides intake for the Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP) to lower electricity bills for low-income households.  
Manages the RentSmart Ontario program.
