Description (Service) | This service/organization is experiencing a closure or cancellation due to the COVID-19 virus. Visit the City of Hamilton Closures and Cancellations website for details and updates. Providing, comprehensive and supportive care for children and adolescents who have experienced sexual assault. Follow-up medical care and counselling for children under the age of 13 is provided through the Child Advocacy and Assessment Program. |

Eligibility | Ages: 17 year(s) and under Emergency medical care for children and youth who have been sexually assaulted. |
Application | Visit the hospital emergency department and ask for the sexual health nurse examiner (SANE), or contact for more information. Victims of sexual assault ages 18 and over must access the program through the Emergency Departments at: Juravinski Hospital Hamilton General Hospital |
