Description (Service) Assists parents of children with severe disabilities by providing them with a monthly financial benefit, which is needs tested to help with the ongoing extraordinary costs arising from the child's disability. The benefit is to enable children with severe disabilities to live at home.  
Additional benefits that are issued include: 
* A monthly drug and dental card 
* Eyeglasses  
* Hearing aids and wheelchair repairs.</UL>  
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-5 pm
Eligibility Ages: 17 year(s) and under 
Child must reside at home. Income and degree of disability are factored.
Application Applications for this benefit, which are made under the parents' names, are available at the local MCSS/MCYS office.
