We are looking for a part-time intern who will work 16-20 hours a week from May to August. The Volunteer Coordinator Intern will develop and improve our volunteer program and serve as a point person for interested newcomers and project volunteers. Key responsibilities include: managing the volunteer database, developing and compiling an e-newsletter, coordinating current and new volunteers according to their interests, enlisting new volunteers, and providing events support. The Volunteer Coordinator intern should be a people person, eager to reach out to potential volunteers and help them plug in. Also, the intern should be self-motivated with excellent organizational and communication skills.
