1. Receive food donations and stock shelves. 
2. Check and label expiry and best before dates on all items received. 
3. Oversee the distribution of food to clients after they have been seen by the intake worker/volunteer. 
4. Oversee monthly inventory of items with the help of Food Bank Administrative Volunteer and Intake Worker. 
5. Separate bulk items into individual packaging. 
6. Inform Manager when critically low on staple items. 
7. Maintain a clean and safe Food Bank atmosphere. 
8. Treat all clients with utmost dignity and respect. 
9. Attend Ministry Unit staff meetings as requested.

The Welland Good Food Box is a Fresh Food Distribution Program. Participants order their box of produce during the first three business days of the month. Boxes are retrieved on the the Third Thursday of each month. 
 
Good Food Box is looking for the following volunteer positions... 
Welland Agencies or Organizations volunteering as Host Site Coordinators.  
Purpose: To coordinate customer orders for the Good Food Box 
 
Duties:  
~ Recruit Good Food Box customers from your community  
~ Collect orders and cash payment for boxes  
~ Send orders and payment to Good Food Box coordinator by email or fax  
~ Distribute Good Food Box Produce to participants  
~ Store Boxes until retrieved/  
~ Maintain on-going communication with customers and Good Food Box coordinator
