DutiesFacilitate (with a Co-mentor) 8-10 sessions to teach young boys about Healthy Eating, Active Living, Wise Decision Making, and Developing a Positive Self-Esteem. The program typically runs after school, lasting about two hours, with 8-12 boys in each group. 
 
The program is designed to be FUN and interactive through games, discussions and snack time.

BenefitsThe youth learn about healthy eating, active living, decision making, and self-esteem.

Volunteer must be available one day per week (out of Monday to Thursday) for 8-10 consecutive weeks. Programs typically run after school, approximately 2:30-4:30pm or 3:00-5:00pm- although lunch-time programs may also be offered

Fall Session (September - December)  
Winter Session (January - March)  
Spring Session (April - June)

TrainingGame On! Mentor training day, Child Safety Training Program, on-going support meetings with a professional Caseworker/supervisor.
TransportationVolunteer is responsible for own transportation to/from assigned school
Interaction LevelGroup-based program (2 mentors to approximately 8-12 boys)

CostThere is no cost for the boys/families. All necessary program materials are provided to the Mentors by Niagara Falls Big Brothers Big Sisters
