DutiesEducate young girls (grades 6-8) about Healthy Eating, Active Living, and Positive Self-Esteem. Facilitate (along with a Co-mentor) 7-10 sessions (once per week) that are fun and interactive. 
 
Sessions typically take place after school and include a series of fun games, activities, demonstrations, crafts, snacks and discussions.

BenefitsYoung girls have fun while building self-esteem, improving decision-making skills, and learning about healthy eating/active living.

Volunteer selects one day from Monday to Thursday, programs typically run from 2:30-4:30pm or 3:00-5:00pm. Lunch-time programs are sometimes run as well. Volunteer provides her own availability.
