| Duties | We would like our volunteers to spend quality time with the residents and share some special talents they may have. Mostly, our residents are looking for one-to-one companionship and they would love to sit and chat, play games, go for a walk in our Therapeutic Park, write letters, read and talk. - volunteers younger than 15 years of age: please contact the office for more information - minimum of 40 hours for OSSD placements, regular commitment appreciated | |||

| Cost | A tuberculosis (mantoux) test is needed before anyone can volunteer. You can obtain this test through your doctor. Cost is covered under OHIP. Police check is also required. | |||

Previous volunteering with seniors is an asset, willingness to work with seniors of all abilities, good communication skills, physically able to push wheelchairs. | |||
