Contact Brant helps navigate the many services available to children, youth and their families. Contact Brant helps children or youth experiencing behavioural or emotional concerns to get the services they need by connecting to community services that help children, youth and their families deal with concerns such as anxiety, depression, drug and alcohol abuse, grief, divorce, self-esteem, bullying, sexuality, self-harm, fire-setting behaviours, anger, aggression, acting out behaviours, family dynamics, learning disability, excessive worrying, disruptive behaviours. Contact Brant also helps children and youth with an intellectual disability and their caregivers to connect to supports that can help them participate in the community, further skill training, provide respite, or develop strategies for successfully living with behavioural or mental health concerns. Contact Brant assists parents with parenting concerns including access to information on parenting programs including but not limited to the Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) and to information on community resources available to adults and families.
