| Description | Niagara Peninsula Homes developed and manages the Niagara Women's Enterprise Centre (NWEC) - a charitable agency that provides the following training to women: Professional Restaurant Server and Etiquette Certificate Program: Trains women to gain the practical knowledge and certification necessary to gain employment as a Server in the Niagara Hospitality sector. Professional Banquet Server Certificate Program: Trains women interested in gaining or enhancing the skills required to be a professional banquet server in areas such as weddings, catered functions, special events, restaurants, wineries, and festivals. Includes Smart Serve, WHMIS, Service Excellence, I Know Niagara and Safe Food Handling Certificates. Retail and Customer Service Professional Program: Trains women interested in gaining or enhancing skills required to gain employment in retail stores and other customer service roles. Includes Smart Serve, WHMIS, Service Excellence, I Know Niagara Introduction to Office Administration: Training includes time management and organization, keyboarding, processing mail, office politics, resume writing and interview techniques. Certifications include Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Service Excellence, I Know Niagara, WHMIS Supporting Heroic Expeditions (S.H.E.) Program: Professional and Personal Development training and support. Smart Serve Certificate Training: This training is delivered throughout the region at various times of the year. Introduction to Hospitality: This training is delivered in partnership with the Employment Help Centre of West Niagara throughout the region at various times of the year.
