| Description | A non-profit cancer support centre for cancer patients, their families and caregivers. Provide psychological, social, emotional and informational support for cancer patients and their loved ones. Offer one-to-one peer support, support groups, coping skills programs and a resource centre with hundreds of books and tapes related to cancer at no charge and without referral. Satellite Center is now open at 3-2763 Stevensville Road, Stevensville ON L0S 1S0. Hours vary so please call ahead: 905-382-6121. Look Good Feel Better - is hosted at Wellspring Niagara the first Wednesday of every month from 7-9pm. (Registration required) New Voice Club of Niagara - host monthly meeting for laryngectomy patients from April-December 7-8pm. The Men's Room, a new, monthly program supporting men living with cancer or caring for those living with cancer. This group gives the tools you need to help overcome negative thoughts - a practical guide to empowering the mind. Please call to register Wellspring Niagara also has an online cancer support resource called Pass It On. Topics include: nutrition, exercise, returning to work, tools for coping with the disease, support for family members, information for cancer patients who have financial concerns and more.
