DescriptionProvides return to work programs, skills training programs, assessments, job search skills training, placement services, and job coaching for adults with ANY type of disability. All are individualized services conducted by our team of multidisciplinary professionals. 
EMPLOYMENT SERVICES offers many employment supports and programs. Employment Specialists and Job Developers provide on-the-job development assistance to consumers who are seeking employment and/or are participating in community work experiences. Short-term and individualized training are available.  
~ Assessment offers individualized vocational assessments and Functional Abilities Evaluations to provide adults with physical disabilities the information needed to develop a vocational plan.  
~ Work Preparation offers individualized, highly structured, goal oriented work conditioning and work hardening programs designed to maximize the individual's abilities to return to work safely. 
~ Personal Effectiveness Training is a program designed to enhance the quality of life and to develop the abilities of persons with physical disabilities and/or acquired brain injuries. 
~ Workplace Communication combines literacy improvement, essential skills and on-the-job training specific to an established job goal and individual needs. 
~ Job Placement provides cross-disability coordinated employment placement, job coaching, and vocational and employment counselling services according to individual needs and employment goals. 
~ Job Search Skills Training Program provides clients with the skills necessary to obtain employment in today's labour market.  
~ Occupational Therapy Services enhance all of employment services and programs.  
~ Disability Management Services including Early and Safe Return to Work Programs, OT/PT Prevention and Workplace Reintegration and Physical Demands Analyses, are offered to employers and employees in the workplace setting.  
~ Customer Service Excellence Training prepares candidates for entry level employment in today's labour market. 
~ CapAbility Network provides free internet access with accommodations to meet the diverse needs of people with disabilities.
Supplementary DescriptionThe March of Dimes is a satellite training facility for the Mohawk College Office Administration/Specialty Simply Accounting Diploma. This program is funded by the Ministry Colleges and Universities Second Careers Program. New students are accepted weekly.
