DescriptionThe Niagara Falls History Museum is owned by the city of Niagara Falls, and is run by the City of Niagara Falls Board of Museums. The museum offers tours, and groups/clubs to the schools and public. The building is located in the former Stamford Township Hall which was erected in 1874 and is designated as a historic building. The museum consists of three galleries: the Gale Family "War of 1812" Gallery; the Niagara Falls Community Gallery (2 million years of Niagara Falls history); and a Temporary Exhibit Gallery. 
 
Educational Kits can be rented to schools and libraries etc for $10/week. There are two kits, Pioneers, and the War of 1812 focusing on the Battle of Lundy's Lane.
