| Description | NHEA (Niagara Home Educators' Association) was founded in the 1980s as the number of home schooling families in the Niagara Region grew and needed support, encouragement, and information. NHEA is a Christian based, not-for-profit, support network of families who have chosen the option of providing education for their children based from the home rather than through public, separate, or private schools. Also serve people who are not currently home educating but are interested in finding out about this alternative form of education for their children. NHEA is a member of OCHEC (Ontario Christian Home Educators' Connection). | |||
