| Description | English Academic Program (EAP) This program assists individuals to learn English for employment or career development. Courses are designed to improve English reading, writing and speaking skills to increase employability or start college or university courses. Students enjoy individual academic counselling, 25 hours of classes per week, friendly supportive classes and use of all college services and facilities. The ESL program offers classes at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. There are three terms per year starting in January, May and September. Occupation Specific Language Training (OSLT) Offering part-time courses: Workplace Communication Skills for Internationally Trained Business, Health and Technology Professionals. These courses focus on preparing internationally trained professionals for the linguistic and socio-cultural requirements of the Business, Health and Technology sectors in Canada. Tuition is provided for qualified applicants by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. Enhanced Language Training (ELT) Offering part-time courses: Professional Writing Skills, Understanding Professional English, Communicating Accurately. ELT courses are designed to specifically support newcomers in their transition through post-secondary studies to the Canadian Workplace. | |||
