Description	A service club that raises funds for a variety of organizations in St Catharines. Also has a Leo Club for teens. These clubs provide youth with volunteer as well as recreational opportunities.     May be able to assist individuals with eye glasses or hearing aid. The request must be submitted in writing.  The main thrust is in Sight and Hearing. Have received a challenge from Helen Keller to help the Blind and Deaf and this is the major direction that a Lions Club goes.  Some of the organizations the club has supported are: St Catharines General Hospital, Hotel Dieu Hospital, Niagara Rehab.    LIONS stands for Liberty, Intelligence, Our Nations Safety. Their most memorable achievement is the innovation of the white cane and their motto is "WE SERVE".
