| Description | The St Katharine Orthodox Church of St Catharines and District is the sole Greek Orthodox church congregation for the Region of Niagara. The Greek Community of Niagara is the cultural arm of the group and serves to maintain language and cultural heritage of its members as well as to promote Greek religion and culture to the Niagara Community at large. The Greek Community of Niagara participates in a variety of programs including but not limited to Folk Arts, Grape and Wine, Out of the Cold, etc. The Greek Community of Niagara hosts the annual Niagara Greek Festival (the first weekend following Labour Day every year).
Offers Greek language classes supported by the DSBN as well as Greek dancing lessons for all ages. |
