DescriptionThe Literacy and Basic Skills (LBS) Program is designed to provide individualized assistance to adult learners who are seeking to improve their reading, writing, math, employability or computer skills.  
 
Each learner will develop a personal Learner Plan. Learners will develop sufficient skills to pursue the following goal paths: Secondary School Credit, Post-Secondary, Independence, Employability, and/or Apprenticeship.
HoursOffice Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm
DatesSeptember - June
EligibilityAdults 18 years and older  
 
Each learner needs to be an Ontario resident. He/She must be proficient enough in speaking and listening to benefit fully from the Literacy and Basic Skills Program
