DescriptionArm More Therapy is an Occupational Therapy based service that provides rehabilitation in the following areas: 
1) Hand Therapy which includes the provision of splints/orthoses, 
2) Stroke Rehabilitation focus on return of physical ability, 
3) Lymphedema (primary and secondary) and Lymphovenous insufficency therapy.  
Lymphedema and chronic edema treatment includes manual lymphedema drainage as well as complex decongestive therapy which utilizes bandaging (short stretch). Supplemental to the lymphedema service includes the ability to fit for JOBST and Solaris ready-to-wear compression as well as lymphedema garments.  
4) Office Ergonomic Assessments for individuals with upper extremity issues.  
 
A component of therapy is client education both as it relates to therapy, prevention and health promotion.

EligibilityClients of all ages are accepted in both the hand therapy/splinting program and lyphedema program. However, for individuals with neurological issues the minimum age is 16 years of age.

FeesService ; Service ; Fees are covered by private payers, some extended health benefits, WSIB (Workplace Safety & Insurance Board), and Motor Vechile Accident (MVA) insurance.  
 
ADP (Assitive Devices Program) may cover up to 75% of the cost of some lymphedema bandageing products and compression garments. Other non-profit agencies such as the Rotary Clubs and March of Dimes may be accessed.  
 
*Occupational therapy is a tax deductible health expense.
